Matt Taylor is a Mississippi-based photographer showcasing life in the South. He was born in Memphis, TN and raised in the mid-south. After graduating from The University of Mississippi, he made his home in the quaint town of Oxford, Mississippi, where he has lived for more than 20 years. Matt has had a passion for photography for as long as he can remember. The recent growth of social media has really fueled that passion because of the ability to share his photography with others. Matt found himself getting more and more frustrated with the negative portrayal of Mississippi in Hollywood and the media, so he decided it was time to show off the state's beautiful side!
